
Pumpkin Spice Latte Flip
A pumpkin spice latte-inspired sip for fall, with an indulgent, velvety texture that’s not to be missed!
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Tom Cat Gin
.5 oz Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Pumpkin Sauce*
1 oz Espresso
.5oz Heavy Cream
1 Whole Egg
2 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
Grated Nutmeg Garnish
Preparation:
Dry shake everything without ice. Shake again with ice. Double strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
*Pumpkin Sauce Recipe:
1/3c pumpkin puree
1/2c dark brown sugar
1/2c water
1c sweetened condensed milk
1T pumpkin pie extract (or 1/2T pumpkin pie spice mix)
1/2T vanilla extract
Method: In a saucepan combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar and water. Simmer, stirring and reduce for just a couple minutes. Strain and add the mixture with sweetened condensed milk back to the saucepan on very low heat. Whisk until everything is well incorporated. Finish with vanilla extract and pumpkin pie extract (or pumpkin pie spice mix). Let cool, bottle and store in the fridge.
