Best Old Fashioned ever! I am spoiled now. Such a smooth and delicious gin.

Bought this for an animal shelter gala to benefit WFAHS in southeast Louisiana. This product isn't available here yet so I'm. Hoping it helps raise a few extra dollars with the catchy name Tom Cat.

Brown color has almost a whiskey taste, but very good sipping.

Occasionally it’s a pleasant change of pace from my usual Bourbon/Whiskey routine. Flavor is mild and easy sipping.

The smooth charcoal taste, caramel color and exceptional quality makes this the only gin my wife and I enjoy

I absolutely love this gin. I’m usually a tequila drinker, but this gin is very special. I just wish it was more available in my area. If you’re thinking about trying it, think no more. Get a bottle and enjoy the goodness.

My favorite drink is Old Fashioned. I use Tom Cat rather than Bourbon. Unfortunately most restaurants in Florida don’t stock it. I enjoy its spicy bite on my tongue. Tom Cat Gin

From the first sip you get layered complexity. From the barrel aged oak and spice notes to the velvety sweetness from the honey. The depth of flavor this bottle offers is truly incredible. I always have a bottle handy for my home bar.

This is the best gin I have ever consumed. Smooth with a nice oak flavor. This has spoiled my taste buds as all other gin is inferior.

I looked at this gin at my local liquor store for several months. I was intrigued, but unsure.
Well, I took the advice of the owner, and boy was I glad I did! From the moment I opened the bottle, I knew I’d like it. I made a G&T right away, just this gin and some tonic. Wow! The smoothness of the barrel aged gin, the depth of flavors, and the hint of honey sweetness was delicious. Unlike anything I’ve had before. I didn’t add any garnish that time, I didn’t want to influence the flavors. The next time, I just poured a small glass to sip, which isn’t something I do with gin. That too was delicious!
Occasionally, I’ll make this G&T with a squeeze of juice from a Cutie or Halo tangerine/tangelo. That is my favorite!
Oh, and try the sampler with the unaged gin, and honey! I stir a spoon of the honey into my coffee for about treat. Speaking of which, I need to order some more honey…

I use this Barr Hill Tom Cat Gin like bourbon, for Old Fashioned’s using cardamom bitters, makes it a bit spicy. Similar bourbon flavor profile but lighter.

I’ve tried several barrel aged gins, and Tom Cat Gin is by far the highest quality most complex one on the market. There’s nothing like it. It’s exactly what I want in my version of a perfect Paper Plane cocktail and also delicious straight up with ginger snaps. It’s exactly how I want to end every evening. I’m thrilled that I can buy it online.

Gin and bourbon the perfect combination

I love gin…I often try spirits from small distilleries to enjoy new and varied flavor profiles. Tom Cat was a unique experience for me. The barrel aging brought the smooth, refined flavors of a well made whiskey and combined them with the juniper-forward botanical flavors of a fine gin. The combination created something balanced, flavorful, and unique in the somewhat oversaturated spirits market. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Tom Cat gin with tonic and lemon is my favorite cocktail, only after a Manhattan made with Tom Cat. It's unmatched!

Barr Hill is my favorite gin! Regular honey in warm weather and Tom Cat with spruce syrup 🥃 in the fall and winter!

melodious, exquisite symphony in a bottle

Tried Tom Cat out of curiosity because I LOVE Barr Hill's regular gin. It didn't disappoint. Makes a mean negroni. Also makes a fun bourbon replacement... used it to make mint juleps and it was delish!!
