This is Barr Hill

Our mindful approach to distilling is influenced by Vermont’s working
landscape and the four seasons that so strongly define our place. Our
fermentation process captures the natural variation of wild yeast. With
custom built stills our distillers masterfully select the heart of each
batch. Regional raw honey is the distinguishing ingredient in each of our
spirits, imparting a lush texture and the soft essence of wildflower
nectars foraged by the hardworking bees of the Northeast.

Our Spirits


    Barr Hill Gin is our ode to the hard working bees of the Northeast. Each batch is distilled in our custom-built botanical extraction stills. The juniper-forward botanicals are brought to a perfect balance by the floral depth of our regional raw honey.


    Once distilled, we age our Barr Hill gin in new American oak barrels in search of a bolder expression. The robust character of the new oak barrel mingles with the coniferous quality of the juniper, yielding an enticing aroma. A touch of regional raw honey leaves this revolutionary spirit remarkably approachable.


    Barr Hill Vodka is our tribute to the hardworking beekeepers. In late summer, we take delivery of hundreds of barrels of their pure regional raw honey. Their season’s work is what makes our vodka truly special. We never heat the honey prior to fermentation and we never distill more than twice.
