Earth Day began as a reminder
That the planet matters, and that what we make and consume has consequences.
Over time, it's become something else.
A month of good intentions, followed by business as usual.
We've all played a part in that.
Distillers. Bars. Shops. Drinkers. All of us.
The truth is, sustainability doesn't work in short bursts. And real responsibility doesn't fit neatly into a calendar.
At Barr Hill, we work with land, agriculture, and time. The choices we make don't resolve in April.
They unfold over years.
So now, we're stepping away from Earth Month.
Not because it doesn't matter.
But because it matters every day.
