Kick off Bee’s Knees Week 2024 with a our Bee's Knees Cocktail Menu, our Barr Hill Gin sale, and exclusive sampling in the back bar with Barr Hill Co-Founder & Head Distiller, Ryan Christiansen, from 3pm to 5pm.
No reservations needed, but we recommend making them!

SATURDAY 9/21
HONEY DINNER & AN EVENING WITH THE BEES
Join us for a spectacular pairing of raw Vermont honey, cocktails and food with local beekeeper Bill Marcinkowski of Bee Boys VT, who will be bringing an observational hive to the event. Experience the sweet terroir and botanical depth of raw honey over 3 courses of honey inspired dishes, with specialty cocktails (or mocktails) to pair.
This is a 21+ only event with limited seating.

BEE'S KNEES COCKTAIL CLASS
Join us to celebrate our favorite cocktail, the Bee’s Knees! Learn the history of this iconic prohibition era cocktail and professional techniques so you can craft the perfect Barr Hill Bee’s Knees at home. Mini welcome Bee’s Knees cocktails and light snacks will be provided, finishing with your own hand crafted Bee’s Knees to sip and savor!

MUSIC, PIZZA & ICE CREAM NIGHT
We’re closing out September with a special musical guest, GRG Jazz Trio, and our good friends from Hook and Peel Pizza will be serving up their incredible honey wood fired pizzas on site. And you won’t want to miss homemade honey/lemon ice cream from Wilson’s Herbal Ice Cream along with a few other ice cream flavors to enjoy.

BEE EDUCATION
Did you know that there are more than 350 species of bees in Vermont? And only one of them produces honey? Join Spencer Hardy from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies to learn more about these fascinating insects, particularly the small and often overlooked native bees. The interactive talk will be full of spectacular photographs, games, and fun facts. He will also discuss ways that backyard gardeners (and consumers) can help to support wild bee populations, which are critical to a robust and diverse food system.
